WHAT IS THIS?

The VEG2VEGAN Challenge offers vegetarians an easy way to try vegan for 30 days. During the month of November, participants receive information, inspiration, and support for the process of replacing dairy and eggs with plant-based alternatives. Along with handy tips and delicious recipes, challenge participants gain a community of support for their vegan journey.

WHO NEEDS THIS?

Many people who are vegetarian want to be vegan but have a hard time getting the eggs and dairy products out of their diets. The VEG2VEGAN Challenge makes it easy!

WHY SHOULD VEGETARIANS GO VEGAN?

Everybody wants to be true to their own values. People who have given up meat because they don’t want to hurt animals often don’t realize that cows and hens suffer and die for dairy and eggs. People who have given up meat for their own health often don’t understand that dairy products are as dangerous as meat. People who have given up meat due to environmental concerns often don’t know about the contributions of dairy farms and egg factories to pollution and climate change.

WHO IS BEHIND THIS?

The VEG2VEGAN Challenge is a project of VINE Sanctuary in cooperation with the Afro-Vegan Society. VINE is an LGBTQ-led refuge for farmed animals. Afro-Vegan Society is a nationwide association of Black vegans.

Sign up anytime before or during the month of November, and you will gain access to the whole month’s worth of advise, inspiration, and recipes!

I’M ALREADY VEGAN. HOW CAN I HELP?

Challenge your vegetarian friends to sign up, and offer them help during the month. Be sure to tell them why you think this would help them become more true to themselves. Share the challenge on social media.
